20-Year-Old Spanish Motorcycle Racer Borja Gomez Dies in France

20-year-old Spanish motorcycle racer Borja Gomez lost his life during test runs at the Magny-Cours racetrack in France. The accident occurred at a turn on the track.

It is believed that the incident was caused by an oil patch on the asphalt, leading Gomez to lose control of his motorcycle. He fell and was struck by a motorcycle of his teammate.

Gomez had been leading the Stock 600 class in the European Championship this season.

Earlier, UEFA expressed condolences to the family of Liverpool forward Diogo Jota, who died in a car accident.
