Canadian Figure Skater Stellato-Dudek Becomes Oldest World Champion At 40

Forty-year-old Canadian figure skater Deanna Stellato-Dudek won the free program at the World Figure Skating Championships, making history as the oldest female medalist in the history of world championships.

Stellato-Dudek claimed victory in the pairs' free program together with Maxime Desharnais, scoring 221.56. The second place went to Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara with 217.88 points, while Minerva Hase and Nikita Volodin rounded out the top three with 210.40 points.

The World Figure Skating Championships took place in Montreal, and it was Stellato-Dudek’s first medal at an international competition.
