
At the 2025 World Championships in Singapore, Canadian swimmer Summer McIntosh, a three-time Olympic champion, claimed the gold medal in the women's 400 meters individual medley.
Her time of 4:25.78 set a new record for world championships.
The silver medal was shared by two athletes: Australia's Jenna Forrester and Japan's Mio Narita, who both finished with the same time of 4:33.26.
