Goalkeeper Antonio Edson dos Santos Sousa, known as Pixé, died during an amateur futsal tournament in Brazil, CNN reports.
The incident occurred at a regional competition in the municipality of Augusto Corrêa. After Pixé saved a penalty with his chest, he went to celebrate with his team but suddenly collapsed.
He was rushed to hospital, but doctors were unable to save him. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
