Kenyan Runner Chebet Breaks World Record in 5000m at Diamond League Event

During the Diamond League 2025 event in Oregon, USA, Kenyan runner Beatrice Chebet, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, set a new world record in the 5000 meters.

Her time was 13:58.06. Agnes Jebet Ngetich finished in second place with a time of 14:01.29, and Gudaf Tsegay came in third with a time of 14:04.41.
