Norwegian chess grandmaster Magnus Carlsen has become an official ambassador for Dutch clothing brand G‑STAR and unveiled the brand’s new denim collection.
At the 2024 World Rapid Championship, Carlsen withdrew from the blitz event after an incident related to the jeans he wore to a game. Following the controversy, he auctioned those jeans and sold them for $36,000.
