PSG.LGD failed to reach top 4 of the tournament for the first time since TI 2016

PSG.LGD's Dota 2 team had its worst The International since 2016. The Chinese team finished 5-6th at the 2022 World Championship.

Note that since The International 6, the team has been consistently in the top 4 of the tournament, but TI11 cut that streak off. At the 2016 championship, PSG.LGD stopped in 9th-12th place.

PSG.LGD stats for the last six The Internationals:

  • The International 6 - 9th-12th place;
  • The International 7 - 4th place;
  • The International 8 - 2nd place;
  • The International 9 - 3rd place;
  • The International 10 - 2nd place;
  • The International 11 - 5-6th place.

On October 23, PSG.LGD left The International 11 after losing to Team Aster in the bottom bracket of the playoffs by a score of 0-2. The team will earn at least $609,000 in prize money.

TI11 takes place in Singapore from October 15-30. Twenty teams are playing for more than $17 million.
