The Game Awards 2023 announced the nominees in the Player of the Year category. This time Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyljev, the former CS2 player of Natus Vincere, did not make the list.
Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut (CS2), Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok (League of Legends), Max "Demon1" Mazanov (Valorant), Paco "HyDra" Rusiewiez (Call of Duty), Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk (League of Legends) and Phillip "ImperialHal" Dosen (Apex Legends) will compete for the title of the best.
It should be noted that s1mple won the PC Player of the Year category at The Game Awards 2022. Earlier, Kostyljev had another conflict with insider and scout Aleksey "OverDrive" Biryukov.
Winners of all categories of The Game Awards 2023 will be announced at the awards ceremony on the night of December 7-8.
