The cyber athlete is happy to reach the main tournament of the year on Dota 2. He noted that the victory was not easy for Thunder Awaken. Smiling Knight put his all into the qualifiers:

It feels great, I feel like all the work was not in vain. And I proved to myself and everyone that I can do it. The games were difficult, because some players were worried and we didn't do some things in the game properly. Before the last day [of the qualification] I watched our replays, discussed everything with the captain and the games became easier when we started to move around the map better. I don't know about our plans for TI12, right now we need to rest and get our visas.
Smiling Knight's squad defeated AcatSuki in the final of the lower bracket and earned a slot to the main Dota 2 tournament of the year. Keyd Stars got the first slot of this region.
The International 12 will take place October 12-29 at LAN in Seattle, USA. 20 best teams from all over the world will take part in the championship. The prize pool is not yet known.
