As part of the best-of-3 confrontation, Team Vitality and Heroic will fight for the championship title, $100,000 and a slot at IEM Cologne 2023. In addition, the team that wins IEM Rio 2023 will be closer to winning the Intel Grand Slam.
There will be a show match before the final. The Brazilian team will battle a mixed team from around the world in Counter-Strike 2. The event was announced on April 16.
