Two‑Time Olympic Medalist Kerley Suspended for Anti‑Doping Rules Violation

The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) said American sprinter Fred Kerley is temporarily banned from competing after breaching anti‑doping regulations.

The temporary suspension stems from failing to comply with whereabouts reporting requirements. The period of ineligibility is counted from August 12.

The 30‑year‑old Kerley is a three‑time world champion and a two‑time Olympic medalist, having won silver in the 100 meters at the Tokyo Games and bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
