The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) announced a three-year suspension for Kenyan runner Ruth Chepngetich for violating anti-doping rules.
Hydrochlorothiazide was detected in her doping sample.
In October 2024, Chepngetich set a world record by running a marathon in 2 hours 9 minutes 56 seconds.
Previously, European bobsleigh champion Arran Gulliver was suspended for two years after ostarine was found in his doping sample.
