Pakistan-Afghanistan series shifted to Pakistan from Sri Lanka

Pakistan and Afghanistan ODI series keeps running into trouble as another change is in effect after the series has been shifted from Sri Lanka to Pakistan. The series is scheduled to take place in the first week of September and earlier Sri Lanka got chosen as the host but since the country is now facing a ten-day lockdown, it is difficult to hold a series in this condition.

Afghanistan as a country is reeling right now with the takeover by Talibani forces. Kabul has been decimated, however, even with sports under jeopardy itself, it is a surprise that the series is going to move ahead. Afghanistan recently appointed Shaun Tait as their bowling coach and Avishka Gunawardene as the batting coach, though the Sri Lankan only agreed to coach for this series. There can be more changes to the series considering how many afflictions are around, some human-induced and other pandemic driven.
