Another day of African Qualifiers for the Women’s T20 Qualifiers and another one-sided galore. Here is a summary of all the games.

Rwanda vs Eswatini: Rwanda batted first and piled up a score of 204 runs. Player of the match Gisele Ishimwe smoked a whopping 114 runs off just 69 balls and dominated Eswatini’s bowling. In reply, Eswatini folded for a mere 19 runs as the ten extras made the highest contribution.

Zimbabwe vs Botswana: Zimbabwe batted first and Botswana bowlers did well to restrict them to 113, considering they are the most experienced and successful team in the tournament. Ashley Ndiraya top-scored for them with a 44 runs innings. However, Botswana batting collapses for a scanty 31 runs, and Player of the Match Loryn Phiri’s five wicket-haul handed them a huge loss.

Uganda vs Cameroon: In another lopsided affair, Uganda batted first and notched up 190 runs courtesy of a 59 runs innings by Rita Musamali. Cameroon never got close to the target and made a paltry 35 as Madeleine Sisako made almost half of the runs, remaining unbeaten for 17 runs. The Player of the match went to Concy Aweko who scooped up three wickets for four runs.
