Alcaraz Is Youngest Player With Multiple Grand Slam Titles On Different Surfaces

Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz became the first player under 23 to win more than one Grand Slam title on all three surfaces, as reported by statistical website Opta.

Last night the Spaniard defeated world No. 1 Jannik Sinner in the final of the 2025 US Open.

Alcaraz now has two titles on hard courts (US Open), two on grass (Wimbledon), and two on clay (Roland‑Garros).

Following the American major, the 22‑year‑old will return to the top of the ATP rankings, moving Sinner down to No. 2. The title was Alcaraz’s seventh of the current season and the 23rd of his professional career.

Earlier Jannik Sinner commented on losing the world No. 1 status after his US Open‑2025 defeat to Alcaraz.
