Canadian tennis superstar Bianca Andreescu has revealed that she is going to not play at the start of the next WTA season. The player called the last two years challenging considering how she had to go through COVID-19 and she also said that she had a tough time when her grandmother was in ICU due to a serious case of COVID-19. Bianca rose to fame when she won the 2019 US Open Finals against Serena Williams.
A lot of days, I did not feel like myself, especially while I was training and/or playing matches. I felt like I was carrying the world on my shoulders. I could not detach myself from everything that was going on off the court; was feeling the collective sadness and turmoil around and it took its toll on me.
