Djokovic Confirmed for Adelaide Tournament, Which Will Take Place a Week Before the Australian Open

At the start of the 2026 season, Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam champion, will participate in the ATP-250 tournament in Adelaide, Australia. This was reported by the tournament's press service on social media.

The tournament will run from January 12th to 17th, seven days before the start of the 2026 Australian Open. Besides Djokovic, other players planning to participate include Britain's Jack Draper, Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas, American Tommy Paul, Brazilian athlete Joao Fonseca, Australian Alexei Popyrin, and others.

The current champion of the Adelaide tournament is Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, who ranks fifth in the world rankings. In the 2025 final match, he defeated American tennis player Sebastian Korda.
