It’s true last year particularly in the early rounds I was doubting whether the knee would hold up or if I was able to slide or do my movement as freely as I want. This year, obviously, I am not. Neither do I have any other major physical issues to think about. Of course, there is always something you address minorly but overall body is in a very good shape.
Yesterday, the Serbian player confidently defeated British player Daniel Evans (ranked 154th in the world) with a score of 6:3, 6:2, 6:0 in the second round of Wimbledon.
To advance to the Round of 16, Novak Djokovic will face his compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic (ranked 49th in the world) tomorrow, on the 5th of July.
For reference, Novak Djokovic has won Wimbledon seven times, his most recent victory being in 2022. He reached the finals in both 2023 and 2024 but lost to Spain's Carlos Alcaraz on both occasions.
The main draw of Wimbledon 2025 for men's singles began on June 30 and will end on July 13.
