Novak Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam champion and former world number one, will not compete in the Cincinnati Masters. American Ethan Quinn has been added to the main draw in his place.
Djokovic's next tournament will be the 2025 US Open, having not played since Wimbledon.
In this season, Djokovic reached the semifinals of Grand Slam tournaments three times, losing to Jannik Sinner at both Roland Garros and Wimbledon, and to Alexander Zverev at the Australian Open.
