Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic commented on his victory over Australian Alex de Minaur in the Round of 16 at Wimbledon (1-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4), highlighting the presence of Swiss legend Roger Federer.
Federer, an eight-time Wimbledon champion, arrived at the tournament on Monday, July 7, and attended the match between Djokovic and de Minaur.
Novak Djokovic
I mean, it's probably the first time he's actually watching me – and I ended up winning the match. I'd lost the previous couple, so it was good to break that curse. It's fantastic to have Roger here: a huge champion, someone I've admired and respected deeply.
In the quarterfinals of Wimbledon, Djokovic will face Italy's Flavio Cobolli.
