Nadal Talks About Recovery From Injury: I Sincerely Believe That I Will Return To Play

Former world number one Rafael Nadal said he has no intention of ending his career and will return to the court as soon as he recovers from injury.

Mundo Deportivo quotes Nadal as saying:

I sincerely believe that I will return to play. I can’t say at what level I’ll be able to return, but I’ve never lost the desire to play and now it seems that things are going in the right direction.

The 37-year-old Spaniard missed almost the entire 2023 season. He suffered an iliopsoas muscle injury at the Australian Open in January and has never been on court again. The 22-time Grand Slam winner resumed training in October.

Earlier, Nadal admitted that he was thinking about ending his career and said he wanted to become president of Real Madrid football club.
