Ons Jabeur Snaps Back at Haters After Posting About Her Career Pause

Two-time Wimbledon champion and US Open winner Ons Jabeur commented on a post regarding her career pause due to her mental health, where a user mockingly expressed sympathy for her.

Ons Jabeur
Imagine being so empty inside that someone else’s struggles make you laugh. I’ve noticed your bullying more than once, and it’s sad to see. I truly hope you find the healing and peace you clearly need.

Earlier, an injury prevented Jabeur from competing at Wimbledon 2025. The Tunisian tennis player announced that she would take a break to recover and find joy in life again.

Jabeur is 30 years old and previously reached a career-high ranking of second in the WTA standings. The last time she competed in a Grand Slam final was two years ago, where she lost to Markéta Vondroušová in the Wimbledon 2023 final (4-6, 4-6).
