Serena Williams Shares How Aspiring Tennis Players Can Thrive Without Money

23-time Grand Slam champion and former world No. 1 American tennis player Serena Williams shared advice for young athletes with limited financial resources.

Serena Williams, quoted by Sportskeeda
So I would tell her that money shouldn't limit her: if you want to play tennis, you can. You need support, that's clear, but if you try hard, if you're good, eventually that financial support will come your way. I would tell her this: try hard, study, take advantage of technology as much as you can; if you're interested in a tennis player, watch all their videos, learn from the best. It's not as difficult as it used to be.

Recall that Serena Williams retired from professional tennis in 2022. Currently 44 years old, she is engaged in business and raising two daughters – Olympia and Adira River.

In addition, she is a four-time Olympic champion in singles and doubles.
