World number one and three-time Grand Slam champion Jannik Sinner from Italy shared his thoughts on achieving his fifth consecutive win over 24-time major winner Novak Djokovic, currently ranked sixth in the world.
In the semifinals of Wimbledon 2025, Sinner triumphed over Djokovic in three sets, winning 6-3, 6-3, 6-4.

I think I started to play with Novak when I was very young. For me, every match against him and not only against him, you always try to learn what they are doing well and where they might struggle. Obviously with Novak, it's very difficult to find things where he struggles. Of course, getting better physically, it helped a lot, because it means that you don't rush to go out of longer rally.
In the Wimbledon final, Sinner will face Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, who is ranked second in the world and defeated American Taylor Fritz (ranked fifth) in the other semifinal match.
The grass-court Grand Slam tournament runs from June 30 to July 13. The current champion is the 22-year-old Spanish player, who beat Djokovic in last year's final.
