Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas has had his driver's license revoked for one year and was fined €2,000 for significantly exceeding the speed limit. This was reported by the Greek City Times.
The incident occurred on the Attiki Odos, the Athens ring road, where a surveillance system recorded Tsitsipas driving a Lotus at a speed of 210 km/h.
The permitted speed limit on this highway varies from 100 to 130 km/h, depending on the section.
It was previously reported that Tsitsipas withdrew from the ATP-250 category tournament that was held in Athens.
