Former world No. 1 ATP player and 22-time Grand Slam singles champion Rafael Nadal has announced that his family will soon welcome their second child.
According to The Times, Nadal's wife, Maria, is eight months pregnant. Their first child, son Rafael, was born on October 8, 2022.
The report also notes that Nadal is currently living with his family on the island of Mallorca, where he engages in regular training and plays golf.
This is my first summer in Mallorca. After retiring, I was in bad shape for a month—I could barely walk. But now, I’m doing better than I could have imagined.
Nadal retired from professional tennis in November 2024. On May 25, during the 2025 French Open (Roland Garros), a ceremony was held to honor him for his remarkable achievement of winning the tournament 14 times.
On June 10, the Babolat racket that Nadal used in the 2017 Roland Garros final was sold at auction for a record $157,300.
