Two Coaches Leave Sinner Three Days Before Wimbledon

Sky Sports has reported that Jannik Sinner, the world No. 1 ATP player from Italy, will lose two coaches: fitness coach Marco Panichi and physiotherapist Ulisses Badio.

According to sources, a statement is expected soon that will reveal the reasons behind the termination of their partnership. The replacement for the departing coaches is yet to be determined.

Panichi and Badio joined Sinner's team in September 2021. The 23-year-old Sinner is a champion of 19 ATP singles tournaments and a winner of three Grand Slam events. Before collaborating with him, both specialists worked with Olympic champion Novak Djokovic—currently the world's No. 6-ranked 38-year-old Serbian tennis player.

Sinner is set to compete in the main draw of Wimbledon 2025, where he will face his fellow countryman, Luca Nardi, who is ranked No. 94 in the world, in the first round.
