Action returns to various European leagues this Friday as Augsburg welcome Bayern to the WWK Arena in Augsburg. Nantes will travel to the Allianz Riviera to face Nice, and later in the evening, Blackburn and Middlesbrough will battle at Ewood Park. Below are analyses of the games and acca odds. 

Augsburg vs Bayern

Augsburg were held to a 1-1 draw in their last game against Hoffenheim to extend their unbeaten run to seven games in all competitions and 11 games in the Bundesliga. They are currently in contention for a place in Europe, and their recent form clearly shows that they stand a chance. However, after a disappointing outing last season, Bayern look likely to win the league this season. They are unbeaten in 12 of their last 13 games and have won nine of their last 13 games on the road against Augsburg in the league. So, despite the impressive run of the hosts, I still expect the league leaders to win as they continue the fight for league glory.

Nice vs Nantes

Nice hope to return to winning ways in this clash after remaining winless in their last three games, with the last being a 2-1 loss to Monaco. However, they have lost just one of their last eight games in all competitions. They have managed two goals in their last three games, and despite their decent home run, they have not seen more than two goals in their last six home games. On the other hand, Nantes suffered a 3-2 loss to Le Havre in their last game to extend their losing run to three in their last four games. They have lost their last three games on the road and have managed just one win in their last seven. In fact, they have only secured two wins on the road this season. However, the visitors are unbeaten in their last six games against Nice. With both sides having more or less issues getting the needed wins at this moment, I will pick my prediction from the goal market because I expect minimal goals from this clash.

Blackburn vs Middlesbrough

Blackburn continued their losing run in their last game, losing 1-0 to Portsmouth. They have now lost their last four games, remaining winless in their last six. Despite this strong run, they are unbeaten in their last four games against Middlesbrough. In fact, they have not conceded in their last three games against them. On a positive side, the Rovers scored at least one goal in their last four games in the Championship.

On the other hand, Middlesbrough seem to be back in form after enjoying a three-game unbeaten run, with their last game being a 2-1 win over Oxford United. They have at least one goal in five of the last seven games. So, while the visitors are in great form at the moment, their head-to-head record against the Rover might be an issue; regardless, I expect both sides to score in this clash.
