After losing to Sunderland and Everton, AFC Bournemouth continued in their winless drought last week in the 0-0 stalemate against the Blues, bringing their league performance in fifteen matches to five wins, five stalemates, and five losses. The game actually saw them perform comparatively better against Enzo Maresca’s men, who were lucky to leave the game with a point.

Manchester lineup will see Reuben Amorim pose a 3-4-2-1 formation, with Heaven and Mazraoui as defensive fullbacks, while Joshua Zirkzee plays ahead of Benjamin Sesko.

The three points gained eventually gave them the much-needed temporary relief over hot chasers, Sporting. The 2-1 victory over Malmö in the UEFA Europa League also spiked momentum in the camp as they go into this game as favorites against Estrela this time, despite the previous 2-0 defeat in April.

For Estrela, the most common word used on every matchday for the side is “inconsistency”. Granted, they gained three points against Arouca last week in the 3-1 turret fire from both camps, but the previous week was a flat-out 4-0 defeat against Sporting.

We expect a significant improvement from the last meeting between the sides, with FC Porto given the bias as overwhelming favorites for the game.

In the Scottish Premiership, Glasgow Rangers will play against Hibernian in this close-knit game ahead of the seventeenth matchday in hopes of edging towards a better spot. The most recent head-to-head statistics between the sides prove better standings for Rangers, who have taken seven wins and two stalemates, while Hibernian has only two wins.

Other than Hearts of Midlothian this season, the Rangers have only lost once in fifteen matches, with six wins and eight stalemates from which they have scored twenty-two goals and conceded fourteen. At home, they have two wins, four draws, and one loss, with an excellent unbeaten road form, where they have accrued four wins, four stalemates, and zero losses.

Hibernian’s league campaign so far has yielded six victories, six stalemates, and four losses. After recently losing points to Celtic (2-0) and Motherwell, the Hibees returned to winning ways last week against Falkirk in the 3-0 home contest that saw them dominate both halves.

The Hibernian-Ranger duel has mostly gone the way of the hosts, and while we are party biased towards a continuation of the trend, it is worth noting that a lot is at stake for both sides, especially the visitors, who have almost always come up short in this fierce pairing.
