After ten rounds in the Bundesliga, Mainz 05 and Hoffenheim are distinctly displaced on the table, with Hoffenheim having seen better days. Currently, the 05ers are in 17th place in the league while Hoffenheim is in 6th spot. In the last ten direct meetings, Mains 05 has six wins, while Hoffenheim has two wins, leaving two stalemates between the sides.

Die Nullfunfer has been a point supplier to their last six league contenders, losing against Dortmund (0-2), Hamburger SV (0-4), Bayer Leverkusen (3-4), VFB Stuttgart (1-2), and Werder Bremen (1-1). The game against Frankfurt was a disappointment to the fans who watched indiscipline earn the team five yellow cards and a loss, as they played second-best till the opposition scored in the last ten minutes.

Hoffenheim has had quite the opposite form run, with the 1-0 loss against FC Koln spurring them to four successive victories. The team has one of the boldest attacking lineups

With Die Nullfufer failing to address their defensive problems, it does not seem like they will escape their cold streak anytime soon, as they face Hoffenheim’s brashness. The visitors, who are blinded by ambition, will desecrate the MEWA Arena with their usual goal-scoring spree. I expect at least three goals.

Against Metz, Nice opened the scoring in the first half, but lost grip in the second half after giving away a penalty to the opposition in the 83rd minute.

Olympique de Marseille improved on the 2-2 scoreline against Angers SCO in the heavily contested 1-0 victory over AJ Auxerre, a game where red cards were shown to both teams. The subsequent match against Brest saw the team maximise squad limit, nailing the opponents to a 3-0 score.

My bet is for at least three goals being scored in this match. Marseille will play as the favorites, but OGC Nice is a tough bone to crack. Three goals should feature in this contest.

With two match weeks remaining for the league to be concluded, Bodoe Glimt is hopeful for three points against KFUM Oslo as they look to overtake league leaders Viking at the top spot. The Oslo side has been on a cold streak, with the contests failing to produce victory, resulting in three stalemates and two losses. The 1-1 stalemate against Kristiansund was thought to be a trap for victory, but things worsened in the Sarpsborg 08 encounter, where Oslo was only able to score once in the three-goal encounter. Next was the home game against Haugesund, which ended in a 4-1 disgrace. The road match against SK Brann last week was a 1-1 stalemate, leaving neither side with any advantage.

The visitors have had an interesting run, with five victories in the last six league meetings, losing only to Valeranga. The earlier league clash produced a 3-0 victory for Bodoe Glimt, who have the highest goalscoring tally in the league with 78 goals. Victory here guarantees title ambitions for Bodoe/Glimt.
