Juventus and Atlanta will go head-to-head to preserve their unbeaten record, and finally, the biggest rivalry in Spanish Football between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid will unfold before our very eyes. Man City vs Burnley

Manchester City will look to build momentum in the Premier League when they welcome Burnley to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday. Pep Guardiola’s side shook off the frustration of dropping late points against Arsenal last weekend by easing past Huddersfield Town in the EFL Cup in midweek. A rotated City side, featuring eight academy players, eased to a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Phil Foden and Savinho. That result booked their place in the fourth round for the 12th time in 13 years, setting up a trip to Swansea.

Guardiola's focus now turns back to the league, where City have collected just seven points from their first five matches, which happens to be their lowest start since the 2006-07 season.

Burnley, on the other hand, suffered a setback in midweek, bowing out of the EFL Cup with a 2-1 defeat at home to Cardiff City. Scott Parker’s men have now gone four games without a win across all competitions and sit just a point above the relegation zone. The stats are highly in Guardiola's favor, who wants to see his team back in winning ways after that draw against Arsenal last week. We envisage a tough game, but City remains our favorite.

Juventus vs Atalanta

Atalanta, fresh off a Champions League defeat against Paris Saint-Germain in Paris, bounced back last weekend with a 0-3 victory over Torino, with summer signing Nikola Krstovic scoring a brace. Turin is no place of fear for Atalanta, as they won by a mile the last time they played here against Juventus. Saturday's game is expected to be a very tough one with both teams going all out for goals.

Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid

Kylian Mbappe has been extraordinary for Madrid, with nine goals in just seven games, and Los Blancos sit nine points clear over their rivals, Atletico Madrid. Madrid’s only problem here is history, as they haven’t beaten Atletico in La Liga since September 2022. 

Atletico, on the other hand, is off to a slow start. With just two wins from six league matches and a Champions League defeat to Liverpool, Diego Simeone’s side haven’t found their rhythm. Julian Alvarez remains a key threat to any defense, and he proved himself once again with a dramatic hat-trick in midweek against Rayo Vallecano. For Real Madrid, it's about maintaining their perfect start to the season, despite not having won a game at the Metropolitano in recent years.
