To this, they added a trophy in the Conference League, where they mostly played in a combined squad. Chelsea opened this competition with a 2:0 victory over the Los Angeles team in a duel in which they had a series of goal opportunities, and if they had had more concentration in the final, they could have achieved a more convincing victory. After that, they were disappointed in the match with Flamengo, but in the last round, they had no problems in the match with Esperance and still secured a place in the knockout phase of the competition without any major difficulties, but now they have no right to make a mistake. Although Benfica played three top-notch games in the group stage of the competition, it is clear that the quality is on the side of the Blues, who finished the group stage easily.
