Benfica vs Chelsea

Benfica are traditionally one of the best teams in Portugal, which we are used to seeing from season to season in the race with Porto and Sporting for the title. Yes, they lost the title race to Sporting this season, where the title was decided by a head-to-head match, but they played at a high level all season and can be satisfied with their performance. This is a team that has had several great performances in Europe in recent years, which earned them a place in the Club World Cup, as one of the 12 best teams in Europe. Before the championship, there was a lot of talk about the transfer of Alvaro Carreras to Real Madrid, but he is still a Benfica player and has a big role in the game of team. The very beginning of the Club World Cup was desperate for Benfica, considering that after about 30 minutes of play, they were two goals behind Boca. However, in one of the most interesting games of the group stage of the competition, they managed to equalize, and in the end, they even had several scoring opportunities for a complete turnaround. After that, there was a duel with the worst team of the championship, with Auckland, whom they defeated with 6:0, and in the last round they impressed. They outplayed Bayern and, from the first position, they enter the knockout stages of the competition with great confidence. The Blues made several big changes ahead of this season. First of all, the team was taken over by Enzo Maresca, who immediately brought in some big reinforcements such as Pedro Neto, Joao Felix, and Filip Jorgensen upon his arrival. Under his leadership and with the new reinforcements, Chelsea looked much better on the field and at one point, it looked like they could even join the race, but after a few slightly worse periods they had to be content with a top 5 position, which also brought them a place in the Champions League. They ended the season brilliantly, with a victory over Nottingham in a direct clash for a place in the Champions League. To this, they added a trophy in the Conference League, where they mostly played in a combined squad. Chelsea opened this competition with a 2:0 victory over the Los Angeles team in a duel in which they had a series of goal opportunities, and if they had had more concentration in the final, they could have achieved a more convincing victory. After that, they were disappointed in the match with Flamengo, but in the last round, they had no problems in the match with Esperance and still secured a place in the knockout phase of the competition without any major difficulties, but now they have no right to make a mistake. Although Benfica played three top-notch games in the group stage of the competition, it is clear that the quality is on the side of the Blues, who finished the group stage easily. We expect them to dominate in this match, and we believe that Chelsea will win in the end.

England U21 vs Germany U21

The final match at the European Youth Championship brings us a duel between England and Germany, which in itself gives it an extra charm. It is known how much rivalry there is between these two teams, not only among the best, but also in the younger categories. The final is being played in Bratislava, and, interestingly, these two teams have already met at this championship in the 3rd round of the group stage. At that time, the young Panzers celebrated with a 2:1, but that does not necessarily mean anything. Before that mutual clash, the Germans defeated the Czech Republic and Slovenia, while the English drew with the Slovenians, and it turned out that the victory over the Dumplings was enough for them for the quarter-finals. In it, they were better than Spain, and in the semi-finals, they also defeated the Netherlands, a team that had maximum performance in the qualifications. The Germans had to eliminate the Italians in extra time, and in the semi-finals, they were convincing against France. The Germans defeated the Tricolors 3-0, with the new goal scored by the Woltemade center forward. It seems to us that the Germans have a fantastic attack and are closer to the title, although the bookmakers don't really agree with that.

🔖 England U21 confirmed lineup (4-2-3-1):

Trubin (GK) - Aursnes, Silva, Otamendi, Carreras - Barreiro, Sanches - Di Maria, Prestianni, Schjelderup -Pavlidis

👤 Head Coach: Lee Carsley

🔖 Germany U21 Confirmed lineup (4-4-2):

Atubolu (GK) - Collins, Oermann, Arrey-Mbi, Brown - Knauff, Martel, Reitz, Nebel - Weiper, Woltemade

👤 Head Coach: Antonio di Salvo

Rosenborg vs Viking

The opening match of the 11th round of the Norwegian elite league is also a derby round. Third-placed Rosenborg welcomes the leader, Viking, although the table does not reflect the real situation since the clubs have played a different number of matches. Viking are first, have 32 points won, but also four games more than the current champion Bode/Glimt, for example. Rosenborg have 10 points less than Viking and only one game less, and the fact that the Roses are in a bad period is shown in the latest results of the team from Trondheim. In the last five matches, they have won only once, while they have been defeated three times, including a defeat in the quarter-finals of the cup on Wednesday against Sarpsborg, albeit after the execution of penalties. While Rosenborg finished participating in the most massive competition, the team from Stavanger has advanced to the semi-finals. Viking, with great difficulty, celebrated on the road against second-division team Aalesund and, thanks to one goal scored, remains in the competition for winning this trophy. Viking could even win the double crown if they continue like this, but we believe it is still too early to make such estimates, especially since the European qualifiers are starting soon, and the end of the championship is still a long way off. In our opinion, the guests are closer to success, and we expect many goals in this derby.

🔖 Rosenborg confirmed lineup (4-3-3):

Tangvik (GK); Mortensen, M Ceide, Jenssen, Pereira - Zeidan, Selnaes, Fossum -Holm, E Ceide, Islamovic

👤 Head Coach: A. Johansson

🔖 Viking Confirmed lineup (4-3-3):

Klaesson (GK); Henrik Heggheim, Baertelsen, Falchener, Auklend - Askildsen, Bell, Hansen - Haugen, Austbo, Christiansen

👤 Head Coach: M. Jensen
