The FIFA Club World Cup will take a different turn as Messi locks horns against his former team, PSG, in the knockout rounds of the Club World Cup. PSG started the Club World Cup in great spirits, with a confident 4-0 victory over Atlético Madrid in the opening game. PSG only managed to lose one game in the Group stage, which was against Botafogo. PSG finished top of Group B. Inter Miami, on the other hand, finished unbeaten in Group A with a win against Porto and two draws. Messi wasn't happy at the end of Inter Miami’s 2-2 draw against Palmeiras in their last group stage game because he knew they would be facing PSG if they finished second, and the possibility of easing past the European Champions is slim. PSG is better in terms of player skill, strength, and quality. They have a younger profile when compared to Inter Miami, and we think this might be the end of the road for Messi in the Club World Cup.

Flamengo vs Bayern Munich
Flamengo was already guaranteed as group leaders after beating Esperance Tunis and Chelsea in their opening two games, and they held LAFC to a draw in their third group stage game with half the squad rested. It’s also important to note that Flamengo is currently unbeaten in their last 11 matches, with 8 of those games ending in victories. Bayern Munich, on the other hand, lost their last Group stage game against Benfica, and this loss led them to a second-place finish, which could rather be a blessing in disguise, as Chelsea have now knocked out Benfica. Vincent Kompany’s men will face a stronger foe in Flamengo, who are stronger and more radical in their play.
Bayern certainly has the squad to progress to the next round, and so does Flamengo, and it all boils down to a critical moment of brilliance for both teams. We envisage a very tough game with goals in both halves of the game, as we already know Bayern to be a very strong attacking side.

Varnamo vs Elfsborg
The Swedish Allsvenkan continues to heat up as Varnamo and Elfsborg will clash at the Finnvedsvallen. Elfsborg has been in great form as they recently lost their five-game unbeaten run to Hammaby in their last league game. Before the defeat to Hammarby, Elfsborg had won their last 5 games. Varnamo is having a very bad season as they have yet to win a league game. All pointers point to an Elfsborg win, and we will bank on it.
