Santa Fe vs. Once Caldas

Santa Fe is in ninth place with 12 points in the Categoria Primera A (Clausura) standings. They are level on points with Pereira occupying eighth place—the last promotion spot.

Regarding league performance, particularly in the Clausura, Fe has met expectations. They have suffered just two defeats in their last eight matches (W3, D3). Their recent match was against Alianza in the second stage of the Copa Colombia. The match ended in a 1-1 draw. 

Their opponents in the ninth round of the Categoria Primera A (Clausura) are Once Caldas. It has been a poor showing for them as they are winless in their last seven matches. 

Last time out, they managed to beat Dep. Pasto 2-1 in the first leg of the Copa Colombia second stage. This comes after suffering a 1-0 home defeat against Deportes Tolima.

Santa Fe has been dominant in this fixture, and I'm expecting the home team to secure a home win. They have won three home matches in a row against Once Caldas, and I believe they can make it four in this one.

Connah's Quay Nomads vs. Bala

Connah's Quay Nomads did not have an impressive start to the 2025-26 Welsh Premier League season. They failed to win their opening two games.

However, a sudden resurgence currently sees them riding a two-match winning streak. Their first league win came against Flint Town United, winning 3-2 at home before defeating Penybont 1-0 on the road.

Bala Town have collected the same number of points as Connah's Quay Nomads and are right ahead in fifth place in the league standings with seven points to their name.

Bala managed to pick up their second win of the season when they won 1-0 on the road against newly-promoted Llanelli Town. 

Connah's Quay Nomads have failed to defeat Bala in their last three meetings. That alone is enough to make me believe they might struggle to achieve a favorable outcome despite being favorites to win. This could turn out to be a cagey and low-scoring affair. I'm backing under 2.5 goals in this one. Surprisingly, Bala has the best defensive record in the league, and I see them keeping things tight at the back.
