On Sunday, the Super League Greece will pit the Greek giants Panathinaikos against fellow league contenders, Panetolikos, in pursuit of league glory. In the English Premier League, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will attempt to gain on Liverpool’s top-table occupancy ahead of the sixth round as they set the big guns at the Magpies of Newscastle city.

Newcastle United will play against Arsenal FC at the famed St. James Park ahead of the sixth round of the English Premier League. With the two sides playing respectively through the last five league games with one occasion of defeat, the opportunity to claim better seats in the tournament falls open to the highest scorer, come the embers of full-time. Head-to-head statistics between the sides indicate five wins for Newscastle, one stalemate, and four wins for the Gunners.
The danger-close Magpies prepare for invasion from the Gunners, who are desperate to constrain the friction acquired from their recent point drops in defeat against Liverpool and the 1-1 stalemate against Manchester City, despite playing at home.
They also got to inhale the acrid whiffs of the UEFA Champions League in the 2-1 defeat to Les Blaugrana, despite playing at home. With their star players lost to the transfer market, the team has struggled to fill the huge gaps left in their absence.
The Gunners played against the Etihad Blues last week, almost losing, save for Gabriel Martinelli’s eqauliser in the game’s final seconds. The performance was in sharp contrast to what the fans were accustomed to, inciting rage post-match from the loyalists.
Gabriel Jesus, Noni Madueke, and Kai Havertz will sit this one out due to fitness-related problems.
Our prediction for this matchup will be the BTTS option, seeing as the visitors will most likely be desecrating the St James Park, with its native inhabitants also trying to maintain parity, or take victory, despite the obvious hole in the starting XI posed by Eddie Howe.

Fluminense vs Botafogo
In the Brasileiro Serie A, Botafogo travels to the Maracana Stadium in hopes of continuing its four-game running direct victory in a row.
Fluminense’s shaky performance in the last five league games, with two losses, two wins, and one stalemate, saw them gruel in the red card exchange affair against Vitoria last week, despite the narrow triumph. The recent 1-1 game against Lanus in the Copa Sudamericana saw them exit the competition, having had their run truncated by the Argentine side.
Having crashed out of the Copa do Brasil and the Libertadores, Botafogo focuses on the domestic league tournament, playing to a 3-3 standstill against Mirassol in a game that turned in its head after a 3-0 smooth win in the firsthalf. They moved to seize a dominating 1-nil home win over Atletico Mineiro in the subsequent league, spitting the red card conceded - courtesy of Chris Ramos’s violent conduct in the first minute of the first half’s injury time. Coach Davide Ancelotti’s side obviously struggles with discipline, with Pantaleon conceding another red card in an argument against the referee in the next game against Gremio.
Botafogo mostly wins against Fluminense, whom they have beaten eight times in ten recent meetings.Still, I expect an extremely close contest with fewer than three goals.

Panetolikos vs Panathinaikos
The Canaries will play against the Panathinaikos Greens at the Pantolikos grounds as the fifth round of the Super League gets underway. Both teams come into this matchup with the last ten meetings producing seven wins for Panathinaikos, zero stalemates, and three wins for Panetolikos.
The two sides are off to a terrible start in the league, with the Canaries having just four points in four games, while Panathinaikos is yet to register its season’s first triumph, with two stalemates and one loss.
Panathinaikos had a recent 2-nil victory over the side in February this year, and while the squad dynamics remain the same, their encumbrances in the UEFA Europa League could tell a number on the side, who look to reignite their European League ambitions.
My gut instinct goes with an outright win for the Greens, who will be looking to minimise the effect the absence of their regular starters may have caused in these previous weeks.
