Cleveland went crazy in Los Angeles
The Browns came into last week’s game at Sophie Stadium against the Los Angeles Chargers with a 3-1 balance and one of the best defensive performances in the league. All the more surprising was what happened at Sophie Stadium. John Stefanski’s team lost 42-47. The opponents combined for 89 points!
The Browns had it all on the attack, with Kareem Hunt scoring two touchdowns and Nick Chubb - one. Quarterback Baker Mayfield had a great game with 305 yards passing, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. But defense... What happened to Cleveland’s defence, and the Chargers’ defence too, remains a mystery.
Are Arizona a Super Bowl contender?
Of course, the Cardinals aren’t the only team whose start to the season makes them one of the main favourites. Buffalo, for example, are looking unbelievably good. Dallas and the Los Angeles Rams are off to a great start. And, of course, Tampa Bay are doing just fine, too. The Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay, who should not be underestimated in any way, should also be included. And now Arizona.
However, the Cardinals remain the only team in the league so far without a loss. Quarterback Kyler Murray is making a serious bid for the MVP title. The 1st pick of the 2019 draft is not only wildly good in the passing game with 1,512 yards, ten touchdowns on four interceptions, and as many as 75.2% completion! But he’s already as good as Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson at 110 yards and three touchdowns.

The bookies have Cleveland as their favourite. The Browns are a good team, and they also play at home. Still, it seems that Arizona have no less of a chance to win. Maybe even more. The Cardinals have been terrific to start the league, both offensively and defensively. They have deservedly won five straight and are likely to be close to a sixth.
