The last time these two teams faced each other was in 2022, and the  Philadelphia Eagles won that fixture. How will the Packers react in this fixture? Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles will have high hopes in this fixture as they look to open the season on a positive note. The previous season, this team did well to make the playoffs after finishing the regular season seated second in the National Football Conference East Division. However, their playoff encounter against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended in a disappointing result as they lost 32-9. 

In their preseason matches, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Baltimore Orioles and New England Patriots, which ended 13-16 and 13-14, respectively. However, their final match was against the Minnesota Twins, and they lost 3-6. Heading into this game, the bookies favor the Eagles, but they have lost three times in recent meetings, which will be a concern for them.

Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers were one of the surprising sides in the National Football League last season and will hope to continue where they stopped. However, their performance against the Baltimore Ravens is worth commendation as they pulled off a 30-7 win to enter the new season.

In their last meeting in 2022, we saw what these two played at the top level despite the Phillies winning. While the two teams had a good preseason, they are expected to approach this opener with their best strategy, focusing on securing a win. Therefore, with the offensive approach expected in this game, a bet on points is good. Also, the Packers are a tough side to beat, and despite the Eagles having a good chance, I will back the road side to cover the spread.
