Cleveland Guardians vs Kansas City Royals Prediction: Guardians have my backing

Cleveland Guardians and Kansas City Royals will meet at Progressive Field in an MLB series. This will be the opener of a four-game series. Let’s preview the game before us and make predictions. 

Cleveland Guardians

The Cleveland Guardians are coming off a series against the Texas Rangers, which they won. In that series, the Guardians started with a 3-5 defeat in the opener but then scored 13 runs in game 2 and ended up winning by 8 runs. However, despite a very close finale, this team needed a 4-2 win to stamp their win and end their consecutive series loss. Heading into this game, the Cleveland Guardians are 75-55 this season, leaving them 2nd in the standings.

Kansas City Royals

The Kansas City Royals are coming off a series loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. In that series, this team did have a strong start as they pulled off a 7-4 win. However, their poor performances in games 2 and 3 saw this team concede 22 runs while scoring only five. In the meantime, that defeat was the only loss of Kansas City Royals’ in the recent series, as they had defeated Los Angeles Angels Cincinnati Reds in prior series. 

Expert Betting Tips

The Cleveland Guardians showed they are still the man for the job with their performance against the Texas Rangers. Therefore, at home in this opener, I am backing them up. In their last series, the Kansas City Royals did a very good job on the road in game 1, but I still need to see them up to the task in this one, having struggled heavily in other games. I expect this one to be a high-scoring run like the two teams in the last series, but the Cleveland Guardians will dominate.
