The Detroit Tigers will look to step up and not lose for the second time in this series. In the opener, they did well to win by just one run and then lost by one run in game two. In their game 2, the Detroit Tigers did fall behind very early, and despite making four runs in the bottom of the 6th inning, they could not force an extra inning.

Cleveland Guardians

Cleveland Guardians even things up in this series following an 8-9 win in game 2. However, they come in as favorites in this game 3 and will look to keep things running. In that encounter, Josh Naylor hit a home run and drove in four RBIs. Starting pitcher Ben Lively was brilliant, pulling off 5.1 innings and giving up seven hits and six earned runs. The Guardians are averaging 4.89 runs, while their pitching is giving up 3.8 runs per game.

In game 3, Tanner Bibee will start on the mound for the Cleveland Guardians. Tanner Bibee has a 7-3 record this season and an ERA of 3.67.

The Cleveland Guardians showed what they could do but have not shown they can dominate. Kudos to the Detroit Tigers; they still have a lot to do.
