Oakland Athletics vs Los Angeles Angels Prediction: Angels expected to win this finale

Thursday, MLB action between Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Angels will take place at the Oakland Coliseum. The A’s won the first two games of this series. How will the Angels respond in this finale?

Oakland Athletics will be happy with how things are going for them in this series. Before this series, the Oakland Athletics suffered a sweep against the Los Angeles Angels, and in this one, they have won twice, and a win here will be revenge. However, the Oakland Athletics have won just one of their last five series before this, coming against the Kansas City Royals, while losing to the Arizona Diamondbacks, Minnesota Twins, Toronto Blue Jays and the San Diego Padres in other series. 

Los Angeles Angels

The Los Angeles Angels will look to redeem themselves after a poor performance in this series. In the opener the Angels scored five runs in the opener, and they failed to score in game 2, both games in which they lost. However, prior to this series, they did complete a sweep against the Oakland Athletics and they won three of the four games against the Detroit Tigers. Heading into this finale, the Los Angeles Angels are 36-49 and are seated 13th in the American League.

These are two struggling sides, but the A’s have stepped up more. However, I do not trust the Oakland Athletics to complete a sweep here. This could be a tough one to pick, though, looking at the outcomes of the first two games. Yet, I feel the Los Angeles Angels have a chance here, looking at their pitching starter.
