Charlotte lost with a score of 106:123, in spite of excellent play of Lamelo Ball who finally healed from injury (23 points and 11 assists). The team is now 10-27 overall and in last place in the Eastern Conference standings. Only Detroit is below Charlotte.

Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers played their last game on the road against Atlanta and picked up an important win. As always this season, LeBron James, who had 47 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists, made the difference in Anthony Davis' absence. With LeBron playing like that, the Lakers certainly have a chance to improve. The last three games Darwin Ham's team has two wins, 15-21 overall and 13th place in the Western Conference.

The Los Angeles Lakers, without Anthony Davis, can only succeed by playing great offensively. The Lakes' defense is one of the worst in the league right now. The same can be said for Charlotte. The team, especially with Lamelo Ball back on the court, has the resources to be effective on the defensive end, but lacks the personnel to be as effective on defense.
