The Clippers and the Nuggets have been particularly competitive of late as Denver knocked the Californians out of the playoffs, losing the series by a score of 1:3. Should we expect a heated battle between these teams in the Summer League?

Los Angeles brought to Las Vegas two players who earned a spot in the club's rotation last season. Brandon Boston Jr. and Jay Scrubb led the Clippers in the Summer League in terms of average scoring. The big men Reggie Perry and Moussa Diabate also looked good, with the latter being drafted this year. Perry is even averaging 12 points per game spending 14.4 minutes on the floor, that makes him the most efficient player on the team.
In the recent game against the Lakers, the team shot well from beyond the arc, but their passes left a lot to be desired. As a result, the team lost 72-83. Before, Los Angeles unexpectedly dealt with Memphis (94-76). Five Clippers players scored more than 10 points: Boston, Perry, Scrubb and Diabate, and Jarrell Brantley.
Denver
The Nuggets are known for discovering young talents and the lion's share of the club's primary rotation was picked in the draft. Christian Brown and Peyton Watson are newcomers and they are in the top 3 of the team in terms of productivity. Point guard Colin Gillespie, who is still on a two-way contract with the club, is also performing well.
Gillespie proved to be good from beyond the arc in the last game against Cleveland, and Denver won 84-76. Christian Brown, a great shooter, blew all his three-pointers. That had a big impact on the team statistics. Watson was the most productive player for the Nuggets with 19 points.
Expert Betting Tips
Denver and the Clippers have not been very entertaining so far, but both have a good chance to improve their scoring. Christian Brown has to shoot better from beyond the arc, and Los Angeles has a strong frontcourt in Perry and Diabate. In terms of lineup, LA looks more powerful and Scrubb and Boston's experience in the league make difference, too.
