Indiana vs Golden State Prediction: the Pacers are Hopeless

The recent game between Golden State and Indiana in San Francisco ended in a win for the Pacers. Will the Warriors get revenge?

After an away win over Golden State, the Pacers played four games and lost three. Rick Carlisle's team lost to Minnesota (115-121), Brooklyn (133-136), and Miami (82-87), only beating Washington (121-111). That was a reminder that Indiana is still just building in the new format and is still being prepared to tackle it in earnest. The Pacers are in seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings with a symmetrical 14-14. 

GS Warriors

After losing to Indiana, the Warriors played three games - two defeats and one victory. First, Steve Kerr's team narrowly missed out on a win against Utah (123-124), then they won over Boston (123-107), and then lost to Milwaukee (111-128) without much of a chance. The reigning champion is still so unstable that it looks like the preseason is still ongoing for him. Golden State is still just 10th in the Western Conference standings with a 14-14 record.

In several previous seasons, Golden State has consistently lost to Indiana at home but beat them on the road. Why shouldn't that tradition continue? The Pacers, for example, recently fell to Brooklyn, playing without their eight key players.
