The Trail Blazers played their previous game at home against Oklahoma, the Western Conference leaders, and before that they won four games in a row. Portland never extended the successful series, but they looked good and almost achieved the right to the end, but eventually lost 108:118. Milwaukee

The Bucks were on a roll before the road trip too. At home, Doc Rivers' team won five games in a row - against Sacramento (130:115), Orlando (122:93), Toronto (130:112), Philadelphia (123:109), and Miami (125:96). Milwaukee got off to a poor start, losing to the LA Clippers (117:127) for the first time in 2.5 years, but in the second game of the stretch the Bucks secured a convincing 125:110 victory over Utah, the last team in the West. In the Eastern Conference standings, Milwaukee is currently in fourth place with a 26-18 win-loss record. The Bucks have already reached 12th place in the offensive rating, averaging 114.3 points per game.

H2H Meetings

Surprisingly, the first match between the two teams this season ended in an away win for Portland. In the previous two championships, Milwaukee took three out of four meetings from the Trail Blazers.
