The Jazz, who suffered global changes in the offseason, has not only fallen apart in this championship but is still in contention for the playoffs. The team approaches the meeting with Atlanta as the seventh team in the West and is just half a win away from the top-6.

The Hawks have had a challenging calendar of late. The game in Salt Lake City will be their third road game in a row and fifth game away from home in the last six. The schedule problems, however, did not prevent the team from beating Phoenix on the road in their previous game. Atlanta trailed by as many as 19 points in the first half and didn't give Chris Paul and Imoen a chance to pull off a comeback in the second (133:100). Trae Young had 20 points and 12 assists, Dejounte Murray had 21 points and eight assists. The Hawks are eighth in the East and remain in pursuit of the playoff spot.

Atlanta's resounding win over Phoenix should not be misleading. It's far from the first time this season that the Suns felt like they didn't get on the floor and completely failed to play. If you take the stretch of the last six games, Atlanta has four losses. In addition, the Hawks have a tough schedule and a third road game in a row, and it will be difficult for the team to show their best qualities against Utah. Moreover, the Jazz has been fine, especially at home, where Will Hardy's team has won six of their last eight games.
