On the night of December 16th, controversial blogger Jake Paul will fight with professional boxer Andre August. The fight in the first heavyweight will be held under professional boxing rules and will consist of eight rounds.

Jake Paul is slowly transitioning from some unfortunate MMA fighters trying his hand at bouts with professional boxers. His first fight was off to a rocky start, as he lost to Tommy Fury. Andre August is even weaker, so Paul should do better this time.
Between Fury and August, the YouTube hero fought with Nate Diaz and won by decision. Of course, the bout was fun - Diaz entertained himself as much as he could. But Paul's flaws became even more apparent. At the end of the fight, he was tired, and his boxing skills were - if not completely missing - certainly far from decent.

So it is even surprising why this average boxer was invited to improve the record of the star blogger. August faced either debutants or guys with records like 5-45 and only sometimes defeated them. In his last bout, he somehow miraculously beat on points an undefeated boxer with a suspicious record of 8-0.

The only intrigue here is how long Andre August will stay on his feet. We think it won't take long because his task is probably not to win but to work off the fee. It is unlikely that he will win - although Jake Paul can, at most, reach the boxing newbie level, Andre August is even rawer.
