MIBR vs Fnatic Prediction: European Team Will Be Stronger

Prediction for the ESL Pro League Season 17 MIBR vs Fnatic match will take place on February 22th. Who will turn out to be stronger? Check the team conditions! Several betting options are available.

The Brazilian team periodically appears on S-tournaments' radar but only achieves a little success there. In 2022, MIBR participated in the Major Antwerp but stopped at the Challengers stage. Since then, they periodically appeared in the Play-in stages but only passed through the main stages of prestigious tournaments.

The winter proved to be productive for the team on the regional stage. MIBR has issued an entry to IEM Rio 2023, which dominates ESL Challengers Season 44 in their group. They recently played at IEM Katowice 2023 in a Play-in, where they gave a fight to Ninjas in Pyjamas in the opening match, and in the lower bracket for a slot in the central part of the tournament, they lost to Fnatic without much resistance. The last time MIBR defeated a rival from the top 20 HLTV was already in 2020, but  it was a match against Evil Geniuses.

HLTV statistics say that all the team's players have had excellent ratings over the past month, but the matches were against tier-3 American teams. Reviewing the games from the tournament in Katowice, in the last series against Fnatic, only the first half of the first map appeared like a fight, and most rounds were won not by shooting but by a bomb.

Fnatic has gradually returned to the elite of the Dota 2 competitive scene. In the fall, the team reached the ESL Pro League Season 16 playoffs, IEM Rio Major 2022. At the end of the year, Fnatic won the Elisa Masters Espoo 2022. At IEM Katowice 2023, Fnatic suffered a defeat from Complexity but finished 9th-12th place.

The British team, however, gave an excellent fight to Team Vitality and was one step away from reaching the final of the Upper Bracket. Before that, they took the long-awaited revenge from Outsiders for all the grievances at IEM Rio Major 2022. According to statistics, Fnatic was among the leaders in wins in open duels (54.5%), but it was poorly exchanged in trades (18.6%) and implemented 4x5 situations (64%). In many ways, the last map against Complexity influenced the figures: the Americans did not let them play the usual CS:GO. The nightmare on Overpass ended with a score of 3:16.

Still, don't write Fnatic off. Among the members of group A, they do not look like a pure favorite, but theoretically, they can give them a fight. Given that four teams are going to the next stage, the British organization expects to receive one of the slots.

Expert Betting Tips

Fnatic is an undisputed favorite. They have recently won a face-to-face meeting, which is higher in the HLTV rating. There is some stability in the results. The failure at IEM Katowice 2023 should not be taken into account.
