Team Aurora has finalized the roster for the new season, retaining two players from the previous year: Anucha 'Jabz' Jirawong and Worawit 'Q' Mekchai. They helped the team reach 7th or 8th place at The International 2024. Abed Azel 'Abed' Yusop will join them for the new season. He previously played for Blacklist but moved to Aurora as a free agent after the Philippine organization disbanded the Dota 2 team. Abed will be playing on the midlane, while TA2000 will take the carry position.

TA2000 joined Aurora with Oleh 'kaori' Medvedok, who used to be captain of Quest and had already worked with TA2000 in the previous season. This has resulted in a mix of Southeast Asian and Eastern European players, which adds variety to their game strategy. The new roster debuted at the DreamLeague Season 24 regional qualifiers at the end of September. The Southeast Asians will compete for a spot in the $1,000,000 tournament, held in an online battle format with teams in boot camps across Europe. It's worth noting that the Asian squad is currently taking points away from various teams, but their gameplay still looks quite raw.

Gladiators felt confident going into the first map against Tundra Esports, but they lost. They managed to turn the game around on the second map, but unfortunately, they lost again. In the third and final map, they were caught off guard and ended up in the losers' net. 

The team has announced another vice-championship on TI and a change to the roster. Anton 'dyrachyo' Shkredov has been transferred to the reserve team, and Alimzhan 'watson' Islambekov is taking his place. Watson used to play for Entity, which Cloud9 now manages. He's been with the team for two years and participated in The International 2024.

Watson started in the professional Dota 2 scene in 2013 but made a name for himself in 2021 when he joined the B8 team set up by the legendary Danil 'Dendi' Ishutin. Fans saw the revamped squad in action at the tournament in Belgrade. The team did well in the BetBoom Datcha Belgrade 2024 group stage and is also looking forward to success in the playoff stage.
