The BetBoom Team did well in DreamLeague Season 24, playing amazingly in the second group stage and making it to the finals of the top flight. Subsequent wins against Team Falcons and Team Spirit finally established BetBoom as a major playoff contender.
Since The International 2024 wrapped up, the BetBoom Team has undergone significant changes. As well as the experienced Matvey 'MieRo' Vasyunin and Vitaly 'Save-' Melnyk, the team has also welcomed some new players: We also welcomed back Ivan 'Pure' Moskalenko, creative midlaner Kiyotaka and talented support Kataomi. The changes have strengthened the team's attacking and defensive capabilities and made them more flexible at different stages of the game. The team's confident performance at DreamLeague shows they aim for high results and future victories in major tournaments.
Team Spirit
The team decided to make a few changes to the roster after the performance at The International 2024, where Team Spirit came in 9-12th place. Ilya 'Yatoro' Mulyarchuk and Miroslav 'Mira' Kolpakov have stepped back from playing for now and have been replaced by two newcomers: the support rue, who started in 2023, and 16-year-old carry Satanic, who has an impressive 13,000 MMR and is the youngest player with such an indicator. Magomed 'Collapse' Khalilov has also stepped away from the team, with Abdimalik 'Malik' Sailau taking over until January 2025.
The new Team Spirit roster started showing improvements pretty quickly. The team did well and got invited to some big tournaments. At DreamLeague Season 24, Team Spirit showed they were a force to be reckoned with. After a draw with Team Waska and a loss to Team Falcons, they confidently defeated Palianytsia and successfully made it through the first stage.
In the second group stage, the team really found their stride, with some big wins against Team Liquid, Tundra Esports, Xtreme Gaming and Team Waska, which gave them a real confidence boost. Despite this, Team Spirit had a tough time, losing badly to PARIVISION and BB Team, which put their place in the top set of the playoffs in doubt. However, they managed to secure a crucial victory in the replay against PARIVISION, which allowed them to enter the top set of the playoff stage and continue their fight for the top positions.
