Team Spirit vs Team Aster Prediction: Another Dragons' Draw

Team Spirit

Team Spirit players performed well at DreamLeague Season 20, finishing the tournament in 5th place and getting a slot at the Riyadh Masters. The way of the Eastern European Champion of the DreamLeague was tough. Almost all BO2 matches ended in a draw. At the Bali Major 2023, it is unsurprising if this trend will continue and the Dragons confirm their status as one of the most tied teams.

Team Spirit isn't too bad in DPC points, and we'll see this team in TI11. But to be sure, the Dragons have to qualify for the playoffs of this major. As practice has shown in the past two majors, the Russian team has no problems with that. Once again, they are lucky to be in a group.

Team Aster

Team Aster pleasantly surprised us in the first group stage of DreamLeague Season 20, but the Chinese team dried up in the second one. Some maps were taken in the BO3 matches but never went into the series, so the second group stage of the online DreamLeague ended with no wins for the Chinese.

The team has a difficult situation with DPC points. SumaiL and his new team must climb high at the end of the Bali Majors if they want a direct invite to TI12. SumaiL's performance has weakened. As part of Team Aster, he was impressive in Berlin, but at DreamLeague, he showed an average performance and not the biggest pool of heroes. Perhaps the team shifted the priority in favor of the majors so that we would see a different playing level. In the playoffs, it's hard to believe it, but in BO2, the Chinese can surprise even such experienced players as Team Spirit.

These teams have played each other twice in 2023.
